So I’m posting this very late. But it’s still kind of fun.
Inspired by my friend, Steve Earley’s new years post, and bouncing off some of the professional goals I already made for myself… here are nine things I’d like to do this year related to my hobbies and other fun miscellany:
- Add more photo albums to my main site, and took more photos.
- Read more. Right now, I’m reading Walter Issaacson’s Benjamin Franklin: An American Life.
- Video blog book reviews, a good incentive to read more.
- Learn a song on the guitar. A hobby I’ve slacked on big time.
- Write a short story.
- Volunteer at something. Last year, I built a website for a nonprofit.
- Do a 365 Project. Yeah, I’m late, but whatever.
- Start running, run a 5K and not suck at it.
- Start playing basketball again.
